Can it validate EAN-13?
No. This page validates UPC-A only. Use the EAN-13 generator for 13 digit EAN codes.
Does a valid UPC-A mean the code is official?
No. A valid check digit only means the number follows the UPC-A checksum rule. It does not prove official UPC or GTIN assignment.
